ExpertiseGrid, operated by Incedym Universal — last updated September 13, 2026 (draft)
By creating an account or offering sessions as a consultant on ExpertiseGrid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Browsing consultant profiles and availability doesn't require an account and isn't itself an acceptance of these terms — creating an account, messaging, or booking a session is.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that's older, and able to enter into a legally binding contract. Consultants must be lawfully able to offer their advisory services, and must hold any professional license or credential their category requires.
Every consultant on ExpertiseGrid goes through identity and credential verification before their profile can go live — and, for categories regulated by law (legal, medical, financial), an actual license number checked against the relevant source. There is no default-allow if a review is pending. See Why we verify consultants and How consultant verification works. Client accounts (needed only to book or message — not to browse) use a lighter check: email confirmation and whatever verification the payment processor performs when you pay. If a consultant's verification is rejected, they may resubmit corrected information or appeal to human review directly — see If you're rejected.
A booked session is an agreement between the consultant and the client; ExpertiseGrid provides the video, document-sharing, and payment infrastructure but is not a party to the advice given. Consultants are responsible for the accuracy of their listed availability and for honoring booked sessions; clients are responsible for attending at the scheduled time in their own time zone.
Every session runs through a licensed split-payment processor — ExpertiseGrid never takes custody of client or consultant funds. Applicable fees are disclosed before a session is booked.
Consultants agree to provide services within their verified area of expertise and, where applicable, within the bounds of their professional license. You agree not to misrepresent your credentials, attempt to circumvent verification, use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or interfere with another user's use of it. We may suspend or terminate an account for violating this section, independent of anything else in these terms.
ExpertiseGrid is a marketplace connecting clients with independent consultants — we verify identity and, where required, professional licensure, but we are not a party to and do not supervise the advice a consultant gives. This is not a substitute for a consultant's own professional liability (malpractice) coverage where their field requires it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Incedym Universal's liability for any claim arising from use of ExpertiseGrid is limited to the fees actually paid to the platform in connection with the session giving rise to the claim.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate a consultant account for a breach of these terms, a failed or revoked verification (including loss of a required professional license), or confirmed fraud. Where reasonably possible, we'll tell you why.
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the ExpertiseGrid entity you're contracting with is registered, or, where a specific launch country has its own addendum, by that addendum's terms. See the Privacy Policy's regional section for the data-protection law that applies to you specifically.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active users directly.
Questions about these terms can be sent via Contact support.
